Online or face-to-face hypnotherapy?

I offer online hypnotherapy and I also hold sessions in person from my hypnotherapy clinic in Peel, Isle of Man.

Online hypnotherapy is just as effective as a face-to-face session and follows exactly the same format.  As long as you can see and hear me, you will experience the same benefits as working with me in person.

Which form of hypnotherapy is better – online or in person – is completely down to personal preference. Both have their benefits.

Some people like to visit me in person so that they are not distracted by things going on at home, or to avoid interruptions such as someone walking into the room or ringing the doorbell.

Others may wish to avoid being overheard by someone in the house or building, where confidentialitiy is an issue.

There are people who do not feel confident with the technology involved in an online hypnotherapy session. Or they may prefer a face-to-face appointment because of the calm relaxed ambience of my premises – being able to relax with their feet up in a place they associate only with that relaxation.

On the other hand, some people feel much more relaxed and at ease in their own surroundings.

The time taken or cost of travel can make an online session more practical, or some people just prefer not to have to leave the house when they can simply click on a Zoom link to join their session.

Finally, the choice of therapist isn’t limited to those in our local area when you choose to have hypnotherapy online.  I am able to work with people all over the world via Zoom.
